DefinitionActual NDF (Neutral Detergent Fiber) content of a harvested crop, expressed as a percentage based on dry substance. NDF represents the cell wall fraction including hemicellulose, cellulose, and lignin.
CommentThe actual NDF content in the harvested crop at the time of measurement. It is expressed as a percentage of total dry substance and is measured by a sensor. The applied measurement or analysis method may be referenced via DDI 700 (Nutrient Analysis Method) to ensure transparency and comparability.
