DefinitionActual Biomethanation Production Potential (pBMP) is the maximum volume of methane that can be produced from a given organic substrate under controlled anaerobic digestion conditions.
CommentThe actual pBMP in the harvested crop at the time of measurement. The unit used is mm³/kg, but referring to standard cubic millimeters under standard conditions (Nmm³/kg). The applied measurement or analysis method may be referenced via DDI 700 (Nutrient Analysis Method) to ensure transparency and comparability.
