It is not necessary to include parametric data for all fields; however, the delimiter (“*”) is always required. An ASCII “*” is required at the end of the last included field, even if there is only one ECU identification designator. Any additional ECU identification fields defined in the future will be appended at the end, each separated by an ASCII “*” as a delimiter. |
