SP Description | The ECU Hardware ID provides information to identify a specific ECU hardware version._x000D_ _x000D_ As an example, on a CAN network, this parameter can be used to uniquely identify the hardware version that is relevant for the interface of the ECU to the CAN network. On the ISO11783 network, this parameter is used to associate the hardware version of the ECU to a conformance test report of that hardware._x000D_ _x000D_ The ASCII character “*” shall not be used in the ECU Hardware ID because it is used as a parameter delimiter in the parameter group. The ASCII character "#" is reserved as a field delimiter within the ECU Hardware ID parameter. |
