PG LabelLanguage command
PG AcronymLC
PG NotesA global message sent to inform all CFs on the ISO 11783 bus of the language, date, time format and units of measurement to be used by the connected system.

There can be more than one source of the Language command on a network, therefore a destination-global request for Language may yield more than one response, and the responses may have differing settings. It is recommended that a Control Function send a destination-specific request for the Language command to the Control Function from which it is accessing services.

EXAMPLE A Working Set may find more than one Virtual Terminal on the network. It should use the Language command data from the source address representing the VT to which it is publishing its user interface.
